The challenge
Many exploration blocks have poor seismic imaging or difficult access. Low-altitude magnetics and photogrammetry can add constraints where new seismic is hard to justify.
The work
This is a proposed programme, built on experience of integrating potential-field and field data in Arctic and East Siberian regional projects.
Drone magnetics, photogrammetry and, where useful, LiDAR become a new data layer. After inversion, the results feed the seismic interpretation and the 3D model as quantitative constraints, with the aim of reducing dry-hole risk and focusing the next seismic survey.
Field acquisition is carried out by licensed operators. My role is the geological problem statement and the interpretation.
